Very Human Beings™ · Plain-language policy

Terms of
use.

A few sensible terms for reading, sharing and taking care with the work here.

Last updated

Please use the site thoughtfully.

You are welcome to read, link to and share Very Human Beings™. Please do not use the site to interfere with its operation, scrape it in a way that harms availability, misrepresent who wrote something, or use its name or design in a way that suggests an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

Writing, art and the brand

Unless a page says otherwise, the writing, visual identity and original site material are © 2026 Juliana Saxberg. Very Human Beings™, Studied™ and the Human Imprint are brand assets of the project. Please do not reproduce the logo or use the names as your own.

Some essays carry their own Creative Commons license. Where an essay states a license, that license controls how that essay may be shared. For the rest of the site, short quotations with clear credit and a link back are welcome; fuller reuse needs permission first.

Outside names and links

Books, publications, companies, people and products may be discussed because they are part of the conversation. Their names, marks and material belong to their respective owners. Mentioning them does not mean they sponsor, approve or are connected to Very Human Beings™.

No promises beyond the page

We make a good-faith effort to keep the site available and accurate, but cannot promise that every page, link or source will always work or be complete. Use the site at your own judgment and, for important decisions, read the Editorial Disclaimer.

Changes

The site will grow. If these terms need to change because the site adds features or its practices change, the date at the top of this page will change too.

For a question about these terms, copyright or use of site material, email lex@lexartia.com.

The practical version: read, share with credit, link generously, and do not pass the work or brand off as your own.
